A Complete Unknown actress Monica Barbaro made her SAG Awards debut tonight, and she did it on her own, sans new boyfriend Andrew Garfield on the red carpet.

The star wore a red Dior gown. Inside the ceremony, Barbaro sat with her co-stars.

Barbaro has two nominations this evening: Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role and Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, which she shares with her castmates.

Garfield, meanwhile, is not nominated this year, nor is he presenting. Given this, his absence from the show is not a surprise, as he has no obligation to be there other than to support Barbaro.

News of Barbaro and Garfield dating broke Friday. The couple was filmed seeing a play together in London hours before a source told People that the actors were dating and “spending time together quietly.”

Neither Barbaro nor Garfield have spoken much about their love life in interviews. Garfield even told Esquire in October that it’s not up for discussion. “I have never, and I won’t ever, speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone, ever,” he said.

Barbaro, however, is happy to talk about her professional relationships, including what working with Timothée Chalamet was like. Barbaro played Joan Baez opposite the actor’s Bob Dylan in the biopic.

She spoke to ELLE.com in December about how she and Chalamet saved their first meeting “until we had our first music rehearsal….It was all music related in a really wonderful way, because that’s how Bob and Joan met initially, in the music scene. She was at the height of her career, and he was very talented. So, when we got to rehearse together, that was one of the first times I sang live in front of a whole room of people. I just felt very supported by [Chalamet] and his voice and his work and all that he had put into his character. I had heard his pre-records, and I knew he was doing an excellent job tackling Bob’s voice and the lyricism and everything. To get to do that live with him was just a completely magical experience.”
