We have news that is much better than our language skills: Sézane, that cult Gallic brand so beloved by fashion insiders that they have been known to actually travel to Paris to shop there, has arrived in central London. In Selfridges, to be exact, where they have turned a corner of the store into a 90sqm haven of soigné French style. Serene couches, a free photobooth - oh, and of course the your chance to shop the gorgeous spring collection, without having to take the Eurostar across the channel (or travel to west London, which can take as long). Oh la la, indeed.

On Easter Sunday, it is commanded that thou shalt party like there ain't no work on Monday. It's what Jesus would have wanted (probably). And you could do a lot worse than getting down to Fabric to dance off all those Mini Eggs to the sounds of the mighty Fleetmac Wood. Far from being a tribute act, this DJ set and AV show reframes the music of Fleetwood Mac as an out-and-out rave, taking anthems like Dreams, The Chain and Landslide to a whole new hedonistic level. We reckon full Stevie Nicks outfits are in order... but you can Go Your Own Way.

At this day-to-night party, we're told, 'disco debauchery, fever funkin' and Easter festivities all await...' And as it just isn't a bank holiday without fever funkin', we strongly suggest you get down to Hackney's Oval Space. Providing said high jinx are 90s legends Inner City (you know: Big Fun, Good Life) playing their first live show in London for 20 years, Good Times legend and king of carnival Norman Jay, and Kevin Saunderson with a special disco and 90s house set. Over at Pickle Factory GE-OLOGY goes back-to-back with DJ Red Greg all night long, plus we're promised a 'funky light show, classic fever disco decor, scrumptious street food and delicious cocktails'. You gotta hand it to them, they know how to sell us on an event.

Also known as: the Curious Case of Where to Drink this Bank Holiday. On the trail of this tricksy mystery, we're led to the unlikeliest of spots... W12 Shopping Centre. Because hidden within its walls is The Mind Palace, an immersive Sherlock-themed bar. Adjoining the The Game Is Now, a Holmesian escape-room experience, it's now open to the public to reserve spots for puzzling hunts, Sherlock screenings and - of course - high-quality cocktails. Expect Edwardian decor, themed drinks, bar snacks and pizza - and really polite bar staff. One might say they're complimentary, my dear Watson...
