Ibiza: surely the only place in the world where Monday is the big night. Not least thanks to the celebrated Pyramid night at Amnesia, where revellers are taken back to the old school via top-notch electronic music, mind-blowing production and immersive audiovisuals. And the good news is, it’s coming to London – only on a Saturday (because, well: London). Bringing Balearic vibes to the Press Halls at Printworks are Kolsch, Ilario Alicante, Matador and Tiga, while Mar-T goes b2b with Luca in the Dark Room. Go on, time to party like it’s Monday. Yeah.

Remember a time before we knew just how good hoppers, aka Sri Lankan fermented rice and coconut milk pancakes, were? Us neither, and frankly, we don’t care to. Because since the opening of Hoppers in Soho three years ago, we’ve all been hooked on the damned things, leading to queues around the block. Hard, then, to see how they could make things any better. But, by crikey, they’ve only gone and done it! Because this Sunday, the restaurant is teaming up with Thai-food magicians Farang to throw a full-on feast, featuring nutty smoked shrimp and curry leaf mix, chilli jam seabass, Jaffna duck leg kari, and cardamom donuts with Pandan dunkin’ custard. Mark our words: soon you’ll be struggling to remember a time before Pandan dunkin’ custard…

And don't go worrying about the weather: this one-dayer is an indoor affair, taking place in the cavernous (and covered) surrounds of Tobacco Dock. In its debut year, LOST! In the Dock has assembled a fine line-up of dance music's biggest names, led by MK, Danny Howard, Claptone, Disciples, Lee Foss, Waze & Odyssey... Consider the benchmark set.

Shuffleboard. You’ll either a) have never heard of it; b) be fully aware that it was invented in the 1500s, was beloved by Henry VIII and had to be outlawed in 1542 for being too addictive; or c) have got hooked after The London Shuffle Club gave it a hipster makeover in 2016. Regardless, you’ll want to know about the latest update: TABLETOP shuffleboard. Yep, TLSC’s new innovation lets you experience the thrill of pushing a puck down a board with a stick – without even having to stand up. Which is handy, as the bar’s other specialty is cocktails, from golden rums to fruity vodkas, lavender-infused gins to coffee and tequila specials. Pucking brilliant.

Worry not: this isn’t a Live Aid-style gig in aid of struggling Fleet Street columnists (Richard Littlejohn can go swivel, frankly). This is, much more marvellously, a giant pop-up living room with huge sofas and gourmet roasts on demand, where writers, poets, musicians and comedians perform their own take on the sunday papers. In this 14th edition, you can either take a guided walk around the specially curated arts and crafts market on Primrose Hill, or bury yourself in a Chesterfield to eat roast spuds cooked by chef Danny Jack, listen to live talks and music, and knock back a hangover cure at London’s finest Bloody Mary bar. Now you don’t get THAT with The Sunday Times, do you?
