With festival season officially back, all that's left for us to do is plan our festivals fits - whether you're planning to do the season the traditional British way ( a la Glastonbury), opt for denim, go vintage or boot it, the vibe of festivals you'll be attending will somewhat shape your style.

From the big hitters such as Glastonbury and All Points East, to the rise of smaller boutique festivals such as the Jazz Cafe Festival and Cloud X who have reinvigorated the British festival scene there's now so much choice.

It's not just the south that knows how to throw a festival; Manchester does it in style too, ta very much. The team behind the Warehouse Project take over Heaton Park for two days of electro hedonism and rap legends.

Glastonbury Festival

The Somerset festival, which takes place on Worthy Farm, will return once again, with its melding of music, visual art, politics, performance art, secret sets and a strong message of loving the planet. In 2024, some of the best of British music graced the Pyramid stage including Coldplay, Dua Lipa and Little Simz.

British Summer Time Festival

2025 festival line-up: Olivia Rodrigio, Sabrina Carpenter, Zach Bryan, Noah Kahan, Beabadoobee, Clairo, Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts, Yusuf/Cat Stevens.

Now a staple of London summers, BST returned in 2024 for its 11th anniversary. Found in Hyde Park, the festival hosts day shows dedicated to one main headliner with support acts often selected by the headliner themselves. Previously host to Stevie Wonder, Adele, Elton John and Taylor Swift, this year the headliners are just as major.

When: June 27- July 13.

Soho House Festival, Gunnersbury Park

2025 festival line-up: TBC In early June.

The private members club hosts its House festival in west London. Members can buy a ticket for themselves and up to three guests and the ticket price also includes unlimited food and drink from Soho House's own offering (their signature Picantes are available) and other vendors including Tigre Tacos, Wright Brothers and Crosstown Doughnuts.

Located in an abandoned forest, explore the network of winding paths leading to derelict houses, overgrown courtyards and an abandoned airport. As one of the best jazz destinations in the world, London is home to some of the genre's most renowned music venues, and up there is undoubtedly the Jazz Cafe. Equally popular as it is influential, it first opened its doors back in 1990 and has since hosted the likes of Amy Winehouse, Ben E King and Don Cherry. Now, the music venue will hold its second festival this year.

Boundary Festival

Taking place in Brighton's Stanmer Park at the end of September, the dance music festival closes out the British festival season. Last year, Sub Focus and Pendulum headlined and this year dance and DnB legends Wilkinson and Shy FX and will be on the main stage as will.

To experience the culture for yourself, Piano People In The Park are bringing some of amapiano's best sound makers to London for eight hours of serious grooving.

Details of the 2025 festival including the date, location and line up are still yet unknown, however, a sign up link for the 2025 is always a promising sign.

Cloud X

Festival line up 2024: Ghetts, Jaz Karis, Juls, Berwyn, Bellah, Priya Ragu and Sam Tompkins

Dubbed as ‘South London’s Glastonbury’, Cloud X is the festival for lovers of R&B, Soul & Alt-rap music. With a refreshingly diverse line-up of artists, expect to immerse yourself in sounds of sweet melodic tunes, jazz funk and smooth, laid-back sets. For the ravers in attendance, the Selectors Paradise stage has you covered from hip-hop and dancehall to afrobeats.

The exact details for Cloud X are also unknown, however, their sign up link for this year's festival (and 5th anniversary) will guarantee you exclusive access to cheaper tickets and early announcements.
