Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas gathered their nearest and dearest to celebrate Holi Festival, which began on March 18, 2022.

The ancient Hindu festival saw the couple and their friends throw perfumed powder (gulal) on each other, as well as water balloons and the use of water pistols. Gulal comes in a range of colours and represent different things like spring and love.

In the snaps the new parents can be seen covered in gulal and kissing each other.

The Quantico actor shared a photo of herself in a bikini over the weekend in which she soaks up the sunshine while her husband poses with a fork and knife while pretending to cut a piece out of her bottom.

'Snack,' Chopra Jonas captioned the funny photo. Her cousin Parineeti Chopra jokingly commented on the snap: 'What is going on here the family is on instagram [sic].'

On July 19, the actress celebrated three years since she became engaged to Nick Jonas by sharing a previously unseen photo from that very night.

'Seems like a blink and a lifetime at the same time,' Chopra wrote.

The couple became engaged on the Greek island of Crete in 2018, with the Jonas brother later explaining he waited until midnight to pop the question so it would not clash and be the same day as Chopra's birthday (on July 18).

'I got down on one knee, and I said: "Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?" Jonas told Vogue. 'No joke—she took about 45 seconds. Forty-five seconds of silence. [I said] "I’m going to put this ring on your finger now unless you have any objections.”'

The couple both took to their Instagram accounts on Sunday (March 28) to share photos of themselves donning paint splattered white attire, while celebrating the ancient Hindu festival, with the singer's parents Kevin Sr. and Denise Jonas.

The holiday is also known as the 'festival of colours' and is a celebration of the eternal and divine love of the goddess Radha and god Krishna. It also signifies the triumph of good over evil.

Chopra-Jonas shared the same photos from the occasion, captioning hers: 'Holi, the festival of colours is one of my favourites. Hope we can all celebrate it with our loved ones, but in our HOMES! #HappyHoli everyone [sic]'.

On March 15, the couple had the important task of presenting the 2021 Oscar nominations. Appearing together, live from London - where Chopra is currently shooting two movies - the married couple of two years expertly delivered the nominations before embracing each other with relief once they had finished.

During the live presentation, the couple did show excitement at one point in particular - when they read out the nominations for Best Adapted Screenplay, which included Chopra's Netflix hit The White Tiger.

While Chopra threw her hands up in the air and shouted, 'Yay,' her husband was equally thrilled congratulating the film's writer Ramin Bahrani.

The pair celebrated New Year's Eve in London, wearing matching black ensembles.

'Let’s gooooo! Happy new year everyone ! Can’t wait for 2021 to hopefully make everything better..,' she captioned a sweet photo of the pair together, with the film star wearing a hilarious pair of '2021' glasses.

The couple got into the festive spirit ahead of Christmas in London early, with the actress wearing glittery sunglasses during a dog walk in the capital city.

The couple seemingly spent the festive period in London, with this shot showing them snuggled up on the sofa together with their pet dog, Diana.

The actress shared a photograph of her and her husband walking hand-in-hand together through the streets of London in December 2020.
