'The White Lotus' Cast: A Guide To All Characters Starring in Seasons 1-3

From the first series' Sydney Sweeney to second season's Leo Woodall and the third's season's Lisa, Aimee Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger and more, this is what the cast of our favourite chaotic satire is up to now.

By Panashe Nyadundu

It's the hotel chain that we're equal parts dying to stay at - and also absolutely terrified of. However, if there's one thing that The White Lotus excels at (it's not keeping its guests alive) it's delivering an unforgettable experience for everyone who steps through its doors.

With the release of season three of the series available to watch on our screens, viewers can expect to see an insight into new guests including three longtime friends reuniting on a girls trip (Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon and Michelle Monaghan), a couple with a big age gap (Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins) plus the resort's staff including Blackpink's Lisa and more.

'The social satire is set at an exclusive Thai resort and follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week,' as per HBO's official logline, meaning that the show's director, Mike White will be serving up another round of complex situations and interactions among the guests and employees.

While we're getting stuck into the new season, we thought it'd be the perfect time to learn more about the past and present cast members, from season one, two and three.

From season one's Sydney Sweeney, whose star seems to have no limits, to the breakout star of the second season - Leo Woodhall, plus fan favourites including Meghann Fahy and Theo James - plus the new 'The White Lotus' Season 3 cast, here’s a look at what the cast members are up to, including the characters they’ll play, their other acting credits, and what they've been working on lately.

The penultimate episode of The White Lotus season three starred esteemed Hollywood legend Scott Glenn as Stritala's husband, hotelier Jim Hollinger. His moment of White Lotus glory came when his character faced off with Walton Goggins' Rick, who claimed that Jim ordered his father to be killed before he was born.

'My agent called me up and said they were interested in my availability and said, “If they offer you anything on the show, do it, because it's a phenomenon.” And I thought, “Yeah, OK.” So they sent me a description of an older guy who is laid up and walking with a cane,' Glenn told GQ. 'My first instinct was to get really pissed off because over the last five or six parts I've been offered (and did not do), four of them were guys dying of Alzheimer's, three of them had canes, one of them had a walker, and one of them was in an iron lung. I thought, OK, I know I'm old… But I had just finished a film I love that's still looking for a home called Eugene the Marine, which was intensely physical. So I thought, let me watch the first season of White Lotus and see if that’s something I want to do. And the minute I started watching it, I was seduced into what an unusual concept it was.'

The rest, as they say, is history and Glenn made his White Lotus debut on the second-to-last episode of the third season.
