Below, we break down the part one's ending and what you might expect to see in the second instalment.
The Potential Return Of Morticia's Sister Ophelia
In episode four, a conversation between Morticia and Wednesday takes place in which we learn that Morticia's sister, Ophelia, was once a patient at Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital, after 'pushing her psychic abilities too far'. Ophelia was sent away after she was found screaming and crying black tears – the same black tears that Wednesday has been experiencing due to her strained powers.
Uncle Fester then reveals that prior to being at a patient himself at the same hospital, Ophelia has allegedly escaped, and her whereabouts have remained a mystery for the past 20 years.
While it is unknown which new actor will play the elusive Ophelia in part 2, many fans believe that it may be Lady Gaga after Jenna Ortega revealed that the popstar will not be playing Rosaline Rotwood.
Wednesday's Psychic Powers Stopped Working
A major cliffhanger which left many fans reeling was Wednesday's loss of her psychic abilities. Her powers suddenly stopped working after seeing one final vision of Enid's death. However, many viewers think she'll regain her powers in part two to take on Tyler, connecting the link between her aunt Ophelia, her family and more.
The Mystery Of Lois And The Detained Outcasts
After successfully breaking into a hidden location within Willow Hill (thanks to Uncle Fester), Wednesday was able to uncover the hospital's long-kept secret. For years, Augustus Stonehurst (Philip Philmar) and his daughter Judi (Heather Matarazzo) have been withdrawing the abilities from outcasts and placing them into normal people, under a project called Long-Term Outcast Integration Study (LOIS).
The pair were able to get away with doing so after faking the deaths of the outcasts and keeping them hidden away in the basement of the hospital – that is until Wednesday and Fester free them. Together, they release Patricia Redcar, Julian Meiojas and a few more unnamed patients including a woman in a cell which reads 'Extreme Caution No Unauthorised Entry'. While her identity has not yet been revealed, many fans believe that she may be Tyler's mother, Hyde Francoise Galpin.
The Real Identity Of The One-Eyed Crow
After entering Willow Hill's forbidden LOIS wing, Wednesday and Fester come face-to-face with the one-eyed crow, and its identity is revealed as being Judi, Augustus' daughter. After he began to carry out experiments that extracted the outcasts powers and placed them into the bodies of normies, Judi gained the ability to command birds.
Once her father became a patient at the hospital himself, Judi took over, using the identity of the crow to keep her cover under wraps, which is why Dr. Fairburn is the face of the hospital.
Now that this has been uncovered, it's likely that Judi will make Wednesday her number one target in the second part of the season.
The Death Of Donovan Galpin And Carl Bradbury
When former sheriff Donovan Galpin and Carl Bradbury got too close to discovering Judi's identity and the atrocities that were committed at the hospital, she killed them both with her stolen abilities.
Wednesday's Face Off With The Hyde
Once again, chaos erupts in Willow Hill when Fester unleashes a surge of electricity, which causes the hospital to fall into a spell of darkness and opens all the locks. Amidst it all, Marilyn Thornhill sets out to free Tyler but unfortunately dies once the Hyde emerges. He then makes his way towards Wednesday. Their clash ends with her crashing through a high window onto the street below. Motionless and bloodied, it's assumed that she's hanging on for dear life as the Hyde runs off into the woods.
