Between bowls of cacio e pepe Kelly Rowland, Rita Ora and Olivia Dean joined ELLE UK and Fendi last night to raise a glass to women in music.
Together, with 40 others, including the most exciting names in music, they gathered at Italian restaurant Nipotina in Mayfair to celebrate breakout pop stars and established artists changing the industry. The intimate dinner was hosted by ELLE’s Editor in Chief Kenya Hunt.
Guests at the soirée — including friends of ELLE UK Clara Amfo and ELLE cover star Kai-Isaiah Jamal - were greeted with glasses of Moët and Chandon champagne before enjoying canapés of arancini balls followed by pasta, grilled sea bass and followed by tiramisu. Later, guests took to dancefloor with Jaguar taking to the decks.

Taking a moment to address the room, ELLE UK's Editor-in-Chief Kenya Hunt said: 'It is a joy to be here to celebrate the remarkable power of women in music. There is the famous saying that "During times of upheaval, artists create." And music has special meaning during times like this. It can serve as mirror, it can serve as resistance, it can serve as a source of joy. It can mean so many different things to so many people. And you are all vessels of that and what you put out in the world means so much to so many right now'.
The night was part of a series of empowering initiatives that ELLE UK is curating to mark its milestone 40th birthday, recognising the most influential and impactful women in the creative industries today.
