On Sunday, Meghan Markle offered a glimpse of a special mother-daughter activity with Lilibet that included some adorable outfits for both the duchess and the princess. In a video she shared in her Instagram Stories, the Duchess of Sussex is holding her three-year-old daughter’s hand as they approach a beehive and smoker, set to the song 'Sugar, Sugar' by The Archies.

Both Meghan and Lilibet are in white beekeeper’s uniforms with net-covered hats and gloves. Lilibet also has on a pair of bright rainbow galoshes. At one point in the clip, she looks up towards her mom as though for reassurance.

The duchess has talked about her interest in beekeeping before on her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, where she was filmed handling a hive and grabbing some fresh honey.
'It’s like also that little reminder to do something that scares you a little bit. I think that’s part of it, but I’m trying to stay in the calm of it. Because it’s beautiful to be this connected,' she said of the hobby.
Meghan’s sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, is also a fan of beekeeping and has hives at her and Prince William’s Norfolk home, Anmer Hall. In 2023, she shared a picture of herself in her beekeeping outfit for World Bee Day on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s Instagram account.
'Bees are a vital part of our ecosystem and today is a great opportunity to raise awareness of the essential role bees and other pollinators play in keeping people and the planet healthy,' she shared in the caption.
The family tradition continues into the next generation.
