The great re-brand of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, may well be underway but one thing that hasn't faltered throughout her life is her dedication to uplifting those close to her. A case in point came evidenced on the mother-of-two's recent podcast episode with her friend Jamie Kern Lima on her podcast, The Jamie Kern Lima Show, when she proved the lengths she goes to to ensure that her children feel uplifted and adored.
When Lima asked Markle what she hopes three-year-old Lilibet will share and remember her by with her own friends in years to come, the As Ever founder shared, 'I hope that she says — I know that they'll feel — like "Oh my gosh, no one has ever loved us more than the way our mum loved us." And I put that in practice, that's part of how I show up for them everyday.'

Inspired by a friend of the pair's, Markle revealed during the course of the episode that she has made a series of secret email addresses for five-year-old Archie and Lilibet that she'll give to them when they're older. At the end of every day, Markle sends the email addresses photographs and tidbits of the children's lives that wouldn't be profound enough to immortalise in a picture frame, for example, but that will amount to something worth memorialising when they're old enough to appreciate them.
'I thought it was such a great time capsule to create for them,' the former Suits actor said. 'I used to love scrapbooks and photo albums, but we're past that generation now and so I created for the kids these email addresses that I will give them at some point when they're older. But before I go to bed every night, I email them. I email them their report card from that day, or a funny thing they said that morning or here's a picture of you two having breakfast. The things that you're not going to frame, things you're not going to put pen to paper on. But they will end up, when they're sixteen or eighteen, with an email that I've been keeping for them.'
Lima and Markle swiftly became emotional, as the With Love, Meghan star proceeded to say that she includes in her nightly recap to her children every moment she feels proud of them: 'For them to be able to look back and say 'Oh my gosh, she has loved us so much' and that's the best part about being a mum. It's not about a grandeur of a gesture, it's about "I see you."'
