She might be a Grammy, Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning multi-hyphenate, but if based solely on her snack preferences, Lady Gaga is truly just one of us.

In a game of Ask Me Anything with ELLE UK, Gaga revealed that biscuits and clotted cream are among her favourite British snacks. 'I just like to order breakfast in the UK,' the 'Disease' star said. 'But, also, when we got the Chromatica Ball ready in the UK, we lived in Leeds for a little while and Michael [Polansky] would go to a pub at the end of rehearsals and we would get two beers and a meat pie and that was fun too.'

It's not only British carbohydrates she enjoys that Gaga shared in her interview, but also which song was her anthem growing up (Bruce Springsteen's 'Thunder Road', of course). 'That song made me feel like I had a whole life ahead of me after high school,' she explained. 'I had a rough time in high school so I was really excited to get out of school and do my own thing.'

British snacks and Bruce Springsteen aside though, Gaga stressed that it's music — above everything else — that possesses the most healing power in her life besides her loved ones.

'I don't think there's anything that makes me happier — other than my fiancé and my family — than music. It always just makes me feel really grounded and centred and, like, oddly in control of the outcome,' she noted. 'It's a really chaotic process making music, but you have to rely on yourself. I really have to listen to what my heart's saying and I think that just makes me feel really, really good.'
