Has 'Industry' been confirmed for season 4?
Fans of the gripping show will be happy to hear that Industry has been confirmed for a fourth season. On September 19, 2024 HBO announced the renewal of the series and that a fourth season will definitely be happening.
The series creators, writers, directors and executive producers, Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, expressed their gratitude towards the renewal in a statement. 'We are beyond thrilled and grateful to HBO, the incredible team at Bad Wold and our phenomenal cast and crew for their continued belief in Industry and for allowing us to grow as creators, writers and now directors whilst taking the show to new heights. We can't wait to dive deeper and deliver the best season yet in season 4,' they stated.
Adding to the excitement of it all, Down took to Instagram to share the news with Industry followers and fans.
Who would be in the cast of 'Industry' season 4?
While the cast for season four has not officially been confirmed, we're hedging our bets on many of the main characters to make a return in the upcoming season.
As Yasmin Kara-Hanani (Marisa Abela) and Sir Henry Muck's (Kit Harrington) relationship grows even deeper and the pair are now engaged, we're assuming that the continuation of their relationship will most definitely be featured in season four.
As Harper Stern (Myha'la) now has her eyes set upon New York City and the career prospects that could arise overseas, we're expecting to also see her in the new season. Similarly, Rob Spearing's (Harry Lawtey) job offer as the head of business development at a medical company will most likely see him move Stateside, most likely securing his return to the screen in the new season, to see where and how he ends up.
Other cast members that could also potentially star in season four are Ken Leung as Eric Tao, Sagar Radia as Rishi Ramdani, Miriam Petche as Sweetie Golightly and Ben Lloyd-Hughes as Greg Grayson.
Recently, it was announced that there will be four new additions to the cast - Kiernan Shipka (The Last Showgirl), Jack Farthing (Rain Dogs) Toheeb Jimoh (Ted Lasso) and Amy James-Kelly (Coronation Street), alongside The Handmaid's Tale's Max Minghella.
Has Industry season 4 started filming??
Industry star Marisa Abela has announced that filming for the show’s fourth season will kick off this Monday, March 17th – coinciding with St. Patrick’s Day.
Abela, who portrays Yasmin Kara-Hanani in the series, shared with Ryan Tubridy on Virgin Radio UK how she felt about missing out on the celebratory day.
Speaking about the upcoming season, she said, 'I’m actually quite upset. I’m heading to shoot season four of Industry on Monday, and it’s such a bittersweet day not being with my friends. I have a lot of Irish friends.'
