Dakota Johnson and Jeremy Allen White managed to squeeze time out of their respective hectic work schedules this week to enjoy a day at the beach together with White's kids.
Johnson – who is godmother to Allen White’s children with his ex Addison Timlin – was seen wearing a yellow bikini, while Allen opted to wear white trunks for his day on the coast. The pair were joined by another male friend while caring for White’s daughters, Ezer Billie and Dolores Wild.

Last year Timlin shared a sweet shout out to Johnson on her birthday on Instagram, writing in the caption: ‘Happy birthday to my best friend in the whole world. We feel each other like the weather and I’m so deeply grateful for it. I love you for the rest of time.’ In the snap, the friends sit on the floor while Johnson feeds a baby with one hand and holds wine in the other.
Johnson has been in a relationship with Coldplay singer Chris Martin since 2017 and in an interview in March referred to Martin’s son Moses as her ‘stepson’.
‘I love those kids like my life depends on it,’ she told Bustle. ‘With all my heart.’
‘I think because I grew up in [having a blended family], it’s come more naturally, but I wouldn’t have it any other way really,’ Johnson added.
Johnson and White’s outing comes after the actor has been busy promoting her new film, Daddio, out later this week. Meanwhile, White’s award-winning series The Bear will see its third season released on Thursday.
When asked at a press conference earlier this week about whether The Bear had considered a romance between the show’s two lead characters (White’s Carmy and Ayo Edebiri’s Sydney), the actors answered ‘No.’
‘There was no talk in the rooms about any romantic implications [between Carmy and Sydney],’ White added.
Edebiri noted: ‘Carmy is somebody that I think she’s really looked up to, but now is sort of in the thick of doing business with, and it’s, I think, a lot more chaotic than she might have idealised before they really started working together.’
