Tina Knowles has responded to claims that her daughter Beyoncé lightened her skin in the latest images of the star attending the Los Angeles premiere of her upcoming Renaissance: The Film by Beyoncé.
Taking to Instagram to share a reel of Beyoncé throughout the years, which was set to her song 'Brown Skin Girl', Knowles called out those who have accused her daughter of 'lightening her skin.'
'Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white,' Knowles wrote in her caption. 'She does a film, called the renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she's trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin?'

'Duh, she wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement clown. . ALIEN Superstar duh!' she added, referring to one of Beyoncé’s songs from her seventh studio album.
The mother of two added that she was 'sick and tired' of people 'attacking' her oldest child when Beyoncé 'minds her own business … helps people whenever she can … lifts up & promotes black women and underdogs at all times.' Among the stars to have thrown their support behind Knowles' post praising her daughter are Octavia Spencer and Megan Thee Stallion.
In the images of the 29-time Grammy winner, which were shared to her website after the American premiere of the film earlier this month, Beyoncé wore a strapless chainmail Versace gown with matching opera gloves and sandals.
Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé will be released on December 1.
