After taking five months’ worth of medical leave to deal with the symptoms of chronic Lyme disease, Bella Hadid is officially back to work.

Taking to her TikTok account, where the supermodel boasts 8.5 million followers, Hadid shared a BTS video of her with the caption: ’First day back on set in 5 months!’

The new face of Charlotte Tilbury shared another video too of backstage of the same set, writing: ’SOME people did NOT study their lines prior to rehearsal.’

The 26-year-old model was diagnosed with the illness in 2013, the same year that her brother Anwar Hadid, was too. On August 6, Hadid penned an Instagram post about 'not giving up' as she embarked on 100 days of 'Lyme, chronic disease, co-infection treatment' after 'almost 15 years of invisible suffering'.

Lyme disease is spread by bites from ticks that carry the Borrelia bacteria, and isn't infectious.

Among the images Hadid shared to her Instagram were medical documents from 2014 listing her symptoms, which included fatigue, memory problems, difficulty sleeping and depression, all of which are symptoms commonly associated with Lyme disease.
