It’s the news that sent the And Just Like That… rumour mill into overdrive, but Sarah Jessica Parker has admitted that the news leaking about Kim Cattrall’s cameo in the latest season of the show ‘upset’ her.

According to Variety, Cattrall returns for only one 'cliffhanger' scene, which she shot on March 22 in New York City, without seeing or speaking with her fellow co-stars, including Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. The scene was also shot without AJLT showrunner Michael Patrick King. The scene is said to depict a phone call between Cattrall's character, Samantha Jones, who's relocated to London, and Parker's Bradshaw.

The New York Post revealed that Cattrall's cameo in the sophomoric series was so secretive that her name did not even appear on the call sheet for the day, leaving people stunned at her presence on set. Her scene was rumoured to be filmed in a parking garage near Silvercup Studios in Queens, where she was dressed by Sex And The City's original costume designer, Patricia Field – who Cattrall specifically asked to dress her for her return to the series.
