Nineties nostalgia has reached new heights in recent months, with the dreaded return of long-forgotten trends including low-rise jeans, exposed thongs and UGG boots. But it's not all bad, for the world's obsession with all things throwback has also led to one of the most wonderful pieces of news we've heard in years...

Our favourite Nineties Hollywood stars, Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston, are set to reunite for a new film that will soon begin production with Amazon Studios. In the words of Chandler Bing: could we be any more excited?!

The iconic duo, who once starred in a very memorable episode of hit Nineties/Noughties sitcom Friends together, have just been confirmed for the film by Max Barbakow, per Deadline. While the film is still unnamed, and most details are being kept firmly (and understandably) under wraps, what we do know is that it's being described as an 'untitled body swap comedy' – and that both Aniston and Roberts will also be producing the project.

We're also guessing (and hoping and praying) that Aniston and Roberts will be cast in the lead roles, and will therefore be the subjects of said 'body swap'. Think Freaky Friday meets 17 Again with a whole lot of Friends-style comedy and a good few iconic Nineties throwback moments. Well, that's what we're picturing it as anyway...

News of the upcoming film follows the unexpected success of 2022's Ticket To Paradise, that saw Julia Roberts and George Clooney reunite on the big-screen for the first time in years. Aniston, meanwhile, is set to appear in Murder Mystery 2 alongside Adam Sandler – which will be released on Netflix later this year.
