Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Netflix documentary has revealed some surprising moments thus far, since its release on December 8.
These include the duke claiming that royal family members questioned why Markle should be 'protected' in the context of numerous news headlines about her.
Now, in a new trailer for volume II of the docu-series, shared by the streaming network on December 12, Prince Harry alleges that the royal family lied to protect his brother Prince William.

In the clip, the duke says: 'They were happy to lie to protect my brother, they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.'
It's unclear what lies Prince Harry is addressing, but he follows the comment up with reference to 'institutional gaslighting' within the royal family.
Christopher Bouzy, whose firm combats abuse and misinformation on social media, says in the trailer: 'They were actively recruiting people to disseminate disinformation.'
Elsewhere, as Markle and Prince Harry talk about their decision to step back as senior working royals in January 2020, the duchess says: 'I wasn't being thrown to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves.'
Prince Harry reveals what he told Markle in response: 'I said, "we need to get out of here."'
In another clip Prince Harry is on board an aeroplane as the pair depart the UK, which he describes as a 'freedom flight'.
As the video draws to a close, we see the couple enjoying life in the US, with Prince Harry saying: 'To move to the next chapter, you've got to finish the first chapter.'
On a lighter note, a teaser clip shared on Saturday, December 10, revealed footage of the couple's first wedding dance at the May 2018 nuptials, which was set to 60s track 'Land of a Thousand Dances'.
The camera zooms in on them looking intently into each other's eyes mid-dance.
Harry & Meghan is available to stream on Netflix, and volume II will drop on Thursday, December 15.
