Immediately following the birth of Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's second child, Aire Webster, on February 2, 2022, Kylie's father Caitlyn Jenner gave an update on how she was doing. Speaking on Good Morning Britain in the same month, Caitlyn said: 'They're great. Kylie's doing great, everybody's doing good.'
However, Kylie Jenner has since opened up about her postpartum struggles, revealing that she found the experience 'painful' and 'very hard'.
A year after giving birth to son Aire, Jenner revealed during a cover interview with Vanity Fair Italia that she worried her postpartum depression might 'never pass' – and that contrary to previous comments she made about finding the experience 'harder' than with her now five-year-old daughter Stormi, she in fact experienced the struggles 'twice'.

'The first time was very difficult, the second was more manageable,' she told the magazine. Sharing some words of wisdom with others who might be experiencing similar difficulties, Jenner said: 'I would tell those women not to over-think things and to live all the emotions of that moment to the fullest. Stay inside that moment, even if it is painful.'
'I know, in those moments you think that it will never pass, that your body will never be the same as before, that you will never be the same,' she continued. 'That's not true: the hormones, the emotions at that stage are much, much more powerful and bigger than you.
'My advice is to live through that transition, without fear of the aftermath' shared the 25-year-old beauty mogul. 'The risk is to miss all the most beautiful things of motherhood as well.'
The comments come after Jenner previously spoke candidly about her experience of postpartum depression on Instagram, soon after the birth of her son: 'I just want to say to my postpartum mums that postpartum has not been easy. It’s not been easy, it’s very hard.'
'This experience for me, personally, has been a little harder than with my daughter. It’s not easy mentally, physically, spiritually.'
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum, who kept her first pregnancy under wraps but this time documented her journey via myriad Instagram snaps, continued: 'It’s just crazy and, yeah, I didn’t want to just get back to life without saying that.'
Explaining her reasons for sharing her struggles, she added: 'For other mums going through it right now, we can go on the internet and it might look a lot easier for other people and like put the pressure on us, but it hasn’t been easy for me either. It’s been hard and I just wanted to say that.'
Still, Jenner appears to be focussed on trying to channel a positive mindset, and she shared a different aspect of her postpartum journey during a workout post.
'So I didn’t even think I’d make it to this workout today, but I’m here and I’m feeling better, so you got this. And it’s OK not to be OK,' she said.
'Once I realised that I was putting some pressure on myself and I just keep reminding myself I made a whole human, a beautiful healthy boy and we have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be back, not even physically, just mentally after birth, so yeah. Just sending some love.'
Prior to this, a source told People that Jenner's daughter Stormi was 'helping out with [her] baby brother'.
They added: 'She is the cutest big sister.'
After Jenner initially publicised her pregnancy via an emotional video clip, a source told The Sun: 'Kylie and Travis have been laying low at home together, getting final preparations together for the arrival of their baby.'
The source added: 'Travis has been very supportive the entirety of the pregnancy, but now he's spending even more time with Kylie as a family.'
News of Kylie Jenner's pregnancy wasn't the only baby topic surrounding the Kardashian-Jenner family back in February.
Following the birth of Aire, Kris Jenner spoke to Ellen DeGeneres about Kylie's older sister Kendall's future as a mother.
Speaking of the model, who is currently dating basketball player Devin Booker, Kris told the TV host: 'I think it would be nice if it was Kendall, right? She’s the only one who hasn’t had a baby.'
After DeGeneres asked: 'Does she want to have a baby?', the 'momager' replied: 'I think she would eventually love to have a baby.'
