Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian may have called time on their romantic relationship years ago but it seems their friendship is going from strength to strength.
On Monday, the 37-year-old shared a photograph of himself, his ex and their two youngest children, Penelope and Reign, following their sons’ birthdays to thank the reality star for all her hard work as a mother.
‘Thank you @kourtneykardash for being the best baby maker in town,' he captioned the sweet photo. ‘I couldn't have asked for a better person in the world to have these amazing children with, I love u and our family more [than] anything in the world. [sic]’
Earlier this week, the stars’ sons Mason and Reign's turned 11 and six, respectively, prompting their famous family members, including aunts Kim Kardashian West and Khloé Kardashian, to share adorable video footage and photos of the children on their Instagram accounts.
The former couple called time on their romance in 2015 following a 10 year romance. The couple began dating when Disick was aged 23 and Kardashian was 27.
The have since continued to co-parent their three children. In recent years, Kardashian has been romantically linked with model Younes Bendjima, before splitting in 2018, while Disick was in a long-term relationship with model Sofia Richie.
In May, E! confirmed Richie and entrepreneur's split following their three-year romance.
The news came days after Disick celebrated his 37th birthday with his ex and three children before they joined their extended family members for a bigger shindig.
In July, the eldest Kardashian sibling explained why she had decided to leave her family's reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, prior to the stars' announcement that the series was coming to an end in 2021.
'Privacy is something I have come to value and finding that balance of private moments with being on a reality show is hard,' the mother-of-three told Vogue Arabia. 'People have this misconception that I don’t want to work, which isn’t true. I am following my happiness and putting my energy into that which makes me happy.'
