Chrissy Teigen is empathising with actor Chris Evans after he reportedly shared a NSFW nude photograph of himself on social media.
On Saturday, Evans allegedly posted a photograph of his penis by accident after posting a short video of himself and a group of friends playing a game of Heads Up on Instagram. The clip has since been deleted, the Daily Mail reports.
In light of the image, Evans’ name began trending on social media with some commenting on the actor’s anatomy.

However, other Twitter users have quite rightly chastised people for searching for the nude photo, noting that it lacked Evans’ consent, including the hashtag #consentmatters.
Actress Kat Dennings tweeted: ‘The public respect for Chris Evans’ privacy/feelings is wonderful. Wouldn’t it be nice if it extended to women when this kind of thing happens?’
On Sunday, Teigen took to Twitter to comment on how easy it is to share photos on social media by accident if they automatically save to your camera roll. However, she did not specifically reference Evans' social media mistake.
'My WhatsApp automatically saves every photo to my roll so any boobs in my phone are my girlfriends showing me their boobs or boobs they hate or boobs they love or yeah def also my boobs,' she tweeted.
‘I’d say 80 per cent of my roll is whatsapp nonsense between friends.[sic]'
The pregnant mother-of-two continued: 'I know you can change the settings but I like it. Tons of pics of the kids between families, easy when it saves. It just means that every once in a while there is a crazy random meme I don’t recall in my roll!'
Despite several of her followers suggesting she changes her phone’s saving settings, she replied: ‘I don't want to.'
The photo leak comes six years after Jennifer Lawrence was caught up in the devastating 4chan hacking scandal, resulting in the Internet discussing her nude body and sharing private photos.
In the months that followed the incident, the star denounced the hack as a 'sex crime' and a 'flagrant violation of privacy'. Three years later, Chicago hacker Edward Majerczyk was sentenced to nine months in prison for illegally accessing emails belonging to more than 300 people, including those of Lawrence.
The actress later told Scott Feinberg on The Hollywood Reporter's Awards Chatter Podcast that she was still coming to terms with the leak. 'When the hacking thing happened—it was so unbelievably violating that you can't even put into words. I think that I am still actually processing,' she explained.
Evans’ Avengers co-star Mark Ruffalo came to Evans defence and joked about US President Donald Trump in an attempt to make light of the actor's mistake, tweeting: 'Bro, while Trump is in office there is NOTHING you could possibly do to embarrass yourself. See... silver lining. [sic]'
The Captain America star is famous for championing women’s equality and regularly speaks out on pay disparity in Hollywood.
‘Being a guy, it's a radically different landscape,’ he said on Chelsea Handler’s eponymously-titled Netflix talk show in 2016.
‘I think there is a gender gap that is ubiquitous in Hollywood, and I think a lot of times it's hard to even identify. It's not even about the contracts [or pay]. If you look at that project there's probably about nine roles guy roles and one girl role. So even before you get to the point of money there's already an issue going on underneath.’
The actor has also previously spoken about his struggle with anxiety and depression in recent years.
‘I do struggle. I get anxiety about certain things and press, things like that,’ he told Men’s Health last year.
‘I asked every human being in my life what they thought, and they said I should do the movie, and then I went to therapy. I thought, “I’ll talk to my therapist! See what they have to say!”’
Evans was most recently romantically linked to British actress Lily James, after they were spotted together twice while in London in July.
