Prince William, Kate Middleton and their children reportedly had a family reunion with the Queen and their relatives at Balmoral over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Ahead of Prince George and Princess Charlotte's return to school next week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are believed to have taken their two eldest children and youngest son Prince Louis to spend some quality time with the great grandparents over the weekend.
The Daily Mail reports Prince George accompanied his father and mother on a grouse shoot on Saturday in Corgarff, a short drive away from the royal residence.

Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Tim Laurence, were reportedly also present at the shoot, as was her son Peter Phillips, who was staying on the estate with his daughters, Savannah and Isla.
Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex’s family also attended the family getaway with their children James, Viscount Severn and Lady Louise.
While the Cambridges continue to enjoy shooting trips, Prince Harry was last seen at a shoot in Sandringham on Boxing Day in 2018.
As per tradition, the Queen and Prince Philip have been staying at Balmoral since early August. Her Majesty usually attends the nearby Crathie Kirk church every Sunday but it is thought that she has chosen not to attend the church services due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Queen has welcomed several members of the royal family for visits to Balmoral this year. However, it is understood all encounters have been socially distanced.
Next week, George and Charlotte will return to Thomas's Battersea in London for schooling after relocating to Anmer Hall, Norfolk with their family during lockdown.
The children were home-schooled by their parents for several months, an experience which the Duke and Duchess have opened up about in recent weeks.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5Live's That Peter Crouch Podcast this summer, Prince William said: 'I've found it pretty testing, not going to lie, trying to keep the children engaged in some kind of work, it's been an interesting few months.'
The royal added: 'I've learned through homeschooling that my patience is a lot shorter than I thought it was, that's probably been the biggest eye opener for me, and that my wife has super patience.’
William said he and Kate have been ‘a good team tag session’.
‘I come in with the children and try and get them to do something and Catherine comes in when frankly everything has gone wrong,’ he continued.
‘I have to admit I'm a bit embarrassed about my maths knowledge, I can't do Year 2 maths.’
