Updated article on 03/11/20: Ashley Graham has given a latest update on her body hair during lockdown and her fans can't get enough of her latest ‘look’.
On Monday, the 33-year-old celebrated her birthday during a family holiday with her husband Justin Ervin and son Isaac, and shared numerous snaps from their trip on her Instagram Stories.
In one picture, the model sits nude in a bathtub and shows off her armpit hair, which has since garnered praise from her followers.
‘Love how you're rocking that under are hair girl! We're all human, people need to stop expecting us to live up to a standard, [sic]’ one user commented on the photos.
Another added: ‘Yesssss!!!!! Part of the women with long armpit hair crewwww! [sic]’
One fan noted ‘quarantine pits’ while another commented ‘winter pits’.
Referring to the US election, which takes place on Tuesday November 3, Graham captioned her series of photos: ‘Perfect bday with my boys 💕 (and if you didn’t vote yet, get out there tomorrow folks!!) [sic].’
This isn’t the first time Graham has given her fans an update on the state of her pit hair. In August, the runway star shared a video of herself on Instagram shaving her armpits with a razor.
Last month, the model posted a nude selfie on Instagram in which she poses with her arms wrapped around her chest and has wet hair.
‘Nakie big girl, [sic]’ she captioned the post, which also shows off the model's Scorpio tattoo on her right hip and her post-birth stretch marks, which she's been vocal about the importance of celebrating in recent months.
Original article published on 07/08/20: Days after Ashley Graham opened up about her stretch marks she has shared a down-to-earth video of herself shaving her armpits.
On Thursday, the model shared an Instagram Reel of her activities during lockdown with her family in Nebraska, which has involved balls games and kayaking.
During one snippet in the clip, the 32-year-old new mother can be seen shaving her armpits with an orange razor. And, after months of seeing endless posts of banana breads and knitting projects we’re glad to see a celebrity finally presenting the realities of at-home hair removal during lockdown.
Elsewhere in the video, the star’s seven-month-old son, Isaac Menelik Giovanni Ervin, is seen playing in a paddling pool.
The star recently spoke out on the importance of body confidence and discussing child birth with others for ELLE US.
'The mummy-shaming on social media is out of control,' Graham told actress Kristen Bell in the interview. 'If there's a question to be asked, ask it. But other than that, keep your trap shut and just let that mother figure it out.'
Last month, Graham opened up to People about her decision not to Photoshop her stretch marks in her new campaign for her size inclusive swimwear line with Swimsuits For All.
In the snaps shared on the star’s Instagram account, her stretch marks can be seen on display across her lower abdomen.
‘There’s always a question of what do you want us to retouch, and what do you want us to take out? And I said, “Nothing”,’ except from a clamp holding up the DIY backdrop,’ she told the publication.
‘I want everybody to know genuinely… I want people to see who I am because everybody has a story.’
Graham added that she wanted her marks to be seen and for other women to feel empowered to show off their own.
‘A lot of women I speak to have image issues, body issues around confidence,’ she continues.
‘I want them to understand that we all have things that society has told us to cover up and why do we need to do that? So here I am with mine out and about and proud.’
Keep the positive and real posts coming, Ashley!
