Not since Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas or Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have we been so excited by rumours of a celebrity romance, than that of Chris Evans and Lily James.
Despite lockdown testing the majority of our romantic unions, it seems the famous duo have struck up a relationship during the Coronavirus pandemic. It’s believed that the Captain America star travelled to the UK after quarantining during the health crisis in the US, to start production on a new project. Meanwhile, James lives in London.
In previous years, Evans had been linked with comedian Jenny Slate, with whom he was in a relationship from 2016 to 2018. In 2015, the actor told PEOPLE: 'I’m a pretty romantic guy.'

July 8: Lily James and Chris Evans eat ice creams in the park
Days after their night out in London, the pair were seen eating ice creams and laughing together in a London park.
The Downton Abbey star wore a white cardigan, black skinny jeans and a blue bandana over her face for the outing. Her rumoured beau also covered his face in a New England Patriots-printed bandana and a Boston Red Sox cap.
James also appeared to be carrying a cream-coloured bag with the Corinthia hotel’s name printed on the front of it. The famous hotel is where Evans is believed to be staying during his time in the capital.
July 4: Lily James and Chris Evans spend a night out together in London
The rumoured couple were seen out in London celebrating ‘Super Saturday’, which marked the UK entering the next phase of lockdown as pubs and restaurants reopened.
The pair were photographed leaving Mark’s Club in Mayfair together, with James wearing a red dress and high heels while Evans complimented her sophisticated look in a blazer and smart trousers.
The pair reportedly then took a taxi together to Evans’ hotel, The Corinthia, around 1am, exited the vehicle separately and walked into the hotel at different entrances.
While this event doesn’t confirm that the pair are an item, the fact that they follow each other on Instagram hints that they are at least interested in each other's lives.
