Forget The Hunger Games and The Last Song because Liam Hemsworth might have just played his most defining role on camera yet.

On Monday, the Australian actor teamed up with his older brother Chris Hemsworth and award-winning director Taika Waititi for a fundraising storytelling series for charities affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Filming themselves over Zoom, Chris Hemsworth played the part of Aunt Sponge while his famous brother took the part of Aunt Spiker. If you don't know, the fictional characters are evil aunts to the story's protagonist James.

‘Behold my gorgeous curvy shape, my teeth, my charming grin,’ Liam stated in the clip, in his best, OTT British accent much to the amusement of his brother.

Wearing a green hooded jumper and sporting a thick beard, the 30-year-old appeared to be relaxed as he self-isolates in his native Australia with his girlfriend Gabriella Brooks.

Meanwhile, the Thor actor sported a white T-shirt as he stays in Bryon Bay with his wife, Elsa Pataky, and their three children.

The brothers’ performance has gone down a treat with their fans.

‘The Hemsworth brothers were brilliantly casted as aunt Sponge and aunt Spike,’ commented on YouTube user.

‘Chris is there enjoying himself like the rest of us. Thanks for this!' another added.

In recent weeks, the brothers have been spotted enjoying days of surfing together in Byron Bay with Brooks.

Ryan Reynolds, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Lupita Nyong'o and Cara Delevingne will also take part in additional episodes of the Dahl storytelling series on the Roald Dahl YouTube channel in the coming weeks.
