‘I kind of like my life,’ he told the news outlet. 'I’m really sort of into my children, which I know isn’t popular to say. It’s hard, three girls.'
In May, the couple revealed that they were expecting their third child when Lively attended the premiere of his film Detective Pikachu and debuted a baby bump in a bright yellow Retrofête dress.
Much to the surprise of their fans, the actress secretly gave birth to her third child earlier this summer, with Reynolds sharing a photo of their baby in October.
The notoriously private couple hid their newborn’s face in the photo, with Reynolds adding a humorous smiley drawing over the little one’s face, much to the amusements of the parents’ fans. However, the actor did let slip that they had welcomed a third daughter, revealing the child’s sex for the first time.
In October, Lively also shared her baby registry with her fans on Amazon, and opened up about the realities of parenthood.
Sharing a previously unseen photograph of herself pregnant, the 32-year-old said that she had joined forces with Amazon for the post 'because my friends are popping out kids and I'm sick of having to type up a new "must have" list each time'.
News of Lively and her child’s health comes days after wedding-planning websites Pinterest and The Knot announced that they are no longer going to be promote plantation weddings like that of the famous A-lit couple/
In September 2012, the pair married at the Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina – where scenes for The Notebook were filmed - in front of friends and family including actress Alexis Bledel and singer Florence Welch. While photos from the couple’s big day were never released, the bride is rumoured to have worn a Marchesa ‘cloud-like’ dress and organised a 'dessert table' at the reception.
In recent years, the plantation-located wedding trend has been widely criticised for glamorising the history of slavery in the US, and Lively and Reynolds have had specific complaints levelled against them for choosing this as a wedding location.
As a result, Pinterest has decided to ban plantation wedding content and is currently working to de-index Google searches, meaning that they won’t show up in a user's feed.
