If you’ve always thought the cast of Sex and The City (SATC) drank Cosmopolitans and ate blinis coated in caviar while filming the hit Noughties series, think again.
During an interview on Watch What Happens Live, Kristin Davis on Monday, the actress – who played SATC character Charlotte York – reminisced about her time working on the show and answered a speed round of questions about everything from who was most like their character (Cynthia Nixon) to who had the worst wardrobe (Kim Cattrall).
While we questioned Davis admitting to being a huge fan of Big over Aidan, we were thrilled when Sarah Jessica Parker made a surprise call to Stewart during the interview to ask her the one question we’ve always wanted to know the answer to.

‘Okay, Kristin, this is a real brainteaser,’ Parker, who played writer Carrie Bradshaw, said over the phone.
‘Now, I'm gonna focus it on food because that's basically what we talked about on set all the time. I want you to get in your little time machine and I want you to go back to Morocco, to the set of when we were doing Sex and the City 2.
‘And I'm gonna ask you: What did we eat every day at 11:30?’
Without a second to think, Davis immediately replied: ‘The sandwiches!
‘We would go and get the tomato sandwiches from the Crafty. But we had to walk a really long way!’
Yes, that’s right. The cast of SATC snacked on tomato sandwiches of all things for their elevenses.
Davis co-star interjected, admitting: ‘And I had a particular delicious ham baguette every day.’
During the after show, the 54-year-old also admitted to brainstorming ideas for Sex and the City 3.
‘I have all different fantasies,’ she told the presenter. ‘I have a whole short movie planned. I've told [producer] Michael Patrick [King]. We go to China. This used to be part of the first film that didn't happen way back in the day.’
‘We go to China because my daughter wants to go on, like, an inheritance trip where you go to see your homeland,’ she continued, referring to her adoptive daughter. ‘And when we're in China, Carrie and Charlotte have a whole adventure in China. That would be amazing, right? So, that could be a standalone thing.’
We don’t know about you but we’re sold.
