If you need more proof that Meghan Markle is just like the rest of us, her recent make-up mishap during her Field of Remembrance visit with Prince Harry should do the job.
On Thursday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at Westminster Abbey, with the mother-of-one dressed in an oversized belted navy textured coat, velvet fascinator, slouch knee high boots and navy gloves.
During the visit, Markle hugged and planted a kiss on the cheek of D-Day veteran William Allen.

However, when she pulled away from their sweet embrace, the royal found that she’d left a foundation mark on the shoulder of 99-year-old’s jacket.
I mean, who hasn’t had this happen to them?
What makes the moment even more adorable is that Allen was rather touched by Markle’s ‘gift’.
‘I'm never washing that,’ the nonagenarian told the Daily Mail's royal correspondent before posing for a photo to proudly show off the mark.
The Field of Remembrance is organised by The Poppy Factory an is held in the grounds of the Abbey, there's approximately 70,000 crosses planted there in memory of service men and women who have lost their lives. The Field opens today for ten days.

Meghan and Harry both lay down a cross to the sound of the Last Post and also took part in a two minute silence.
On Wednesday (7 November), the couple also visited neighbouring army families in their home town of Windsor. The pair headed down to a community centre in an Army housing estate in the royal town for a coffee morning where they met the families and children of those serving in the forces.
In a clip, shared to their Sussex Royal Instagram page on Thursday, the 38-year-old, can be seen shaking hands with women and adorably high-fiving one toddler while talking to another about her 'tiny' teeth.
During the surprise engagement, the parents spoke to Susie Stringfellow, who told Forces Network that the Duke seemed fascinated to find out more about her experience of having multiple children.
‘Harry was really quite interested in how things were with second children as well, because we both have older children,’ Stringfellow told the network in a video, referencing another attendee at the event who has multiple kids. ‘We were trying to encourage him to have a second baby.’
