Remember the 2014 Oscars ceremony that saw the likes of Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep and Ellen DeGeneres huddle together for a cheeky selfie on stage?

Well, the Game of Thrones cast may have just stolen the Hollywood group’s title as having posed for the most epic awards selfie to date.

In the snap, shared on Alfie Allen's Instagram account, the actor is holding the camera while his co-stars Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Gwendoline Christie, Carice van Houten and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau post for the snap.

Our favourite pose in the photo?

A steely-eyed looking Dinklage, who won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Tyrion Lannister. Oh, and better yet, it was his fourth time winning the gong.

Allen shared several other selfies from the evening, posing with Christie and Williams ahead of the show start.

The series, which celebrated its finale this summer, also won the Best Drama Series award, as well as being nominated for a whopping 32 trophies (if you include the Creative Art Emmys earlier this month)

While Turner, Christie, Williams and Headey were all nominated in the Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category, they didn’t appear too saddened when losing out on the title to Ozark’s Julia Garner if Allen's selfie is anything to go by.

Before the ceremony, the GoT stars walked the red carpet at the event wearing their best designer outfits: Clarke wore Valentino, Christie sported Gucci and Williams wore custom-made JW Anderson.

Ahead of the awards show, Turner was filmed giving a big hug to her on-screen brother Kit Harrington, who played Jon Snow in the drama.

What a night to remember!
