If you thought earning more cash was the sole aim of Kylie Jenner’s money-themed Kylie Cosmetics Birthday Collection last month, think again.

The billionaire beauty mogul has proved that she values women’s empowerment more than money in the bank by giving close to $1m to a feminist organisation.

To celebrate the launch of the 17th season of the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 22-year-old reality star appeared on Monday’s episode with her ‘momager’, Kris Jenner, marking the mother-of-one’s first sit-down interview since giving birth to her daughter, Stormi, in January last year.

During the television appearance, Kylie surprised a women’s empowerment organisation called Nest of Love with $750,000 (£608,000), adding that she always aims to ‘give back’ when launching her annual birthday collections.

According to the organisation’s website, Nest of Love is ‘committed to lead women from every culture and ethnicity to become a leader.

‘We are uniting individuals who are seeking advancement and equality through our Mentorship, Leadership, Wellness and Spiritual Guidance Programmes,’ it reads.

The Kardashian matriarch and her youngest daughter learnt about Nest of Love’s work from founder Samantha Gil and two of its main members, Briana Grumet and Daniela Villa. As a result, the pair decided they wanted to help support the organisation’s feminist work.

During the show, Kylie gifted the organisation $150,000 (£121,000) and $100,000 (£81,000) to Samantha. In addition, each member of the group was gifted with a Kylie Cosmetics Birthday collection and $50,000 (£40,000).

‘You guys are so amazing,’ Kylie told the women.

‘We admire you all so much,’ added Kris. ‘I know I do.’

The generous donation comes months after Kylie was announced as the world’s youngest self-made billionaire by Forbes.

When questioned about whether her famous family give her a ‘hard time’ about her wealth by Ellen, Kylie admitted: ‘It's only when we're in a group chat talking about where we should go on a group trip, and then everyone's like, “Kylie? Are you going to pay for it?" Or, just stuff like that.

‘They're really proud of me, for sure.’
