When Princess Eugenie and James Brooksbank announced they were going to get married at St George's Chapel on Friday 12 October, we were all left a little bit nonplussed.
Just five months ago, Eugenie's cousin Prince Harry walked down the aisle to marry his now-wife, Meghan Markle, at the exact same location, in what was internationally deemed one of the most iconic weddings of the century.

However, with Meghan reportedly on hand in recent months to help with wedding planning, we have a feeling the princess has a trick or two up her sleeve to make sure her big day is just as special and unique as the Duchess of Sussex's.
Here are the similarities and differences between Eugenie and Meghan's weddings:
Dress
Princess Eugenie paired her Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos wedding dress with a striking headpiece - the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara from the Queen.
Meanwhile, Markle borrowed the Queen's headband, originally made for Queen Mary, the Princess of Teck.
Flowers
Meghan employed florist Philippa Craddock to design the gorgeous floral displays at St George's Chapel, with much of the foliage for the occasion gathered from Savill Garden in Windsor Great Park.
When Harry and Meghan exited the chapel, they surprised fans with a kiss underneath a stunning cream and green-coloured floral archway.
Similarly, Eugenie has chosen a near-identical archway outside the chapel, but opted for more autumnal colours such as burgundy, purple and orange.
Guests
According to Vanity Fair, Eugenie and James sent out a reported 850 invites to friends and family and invited 1,200 members of the public to celebrate their marriage.
Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan invited just 600 people to their nuptials and a whopping 2,640 members of the public.
In addition, rather than facing the front of the chapel as guests were at Markle's wedding, those at Eugenie's nuptials sat on either side of the aisle faced inwards, much like a fashion show seating plan.
Formal Attire
For the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding, male guests were reportedly asked to wear lounge suits.
Meanwhile, Eugenie and her beau have reportedly instructed their invitees to wear mornings coats for the occasion.
Wedding date
Eugenie and James scheduled their wedding to take place at 11am on a Friday, whereas Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hosted their wedding on a Saturday at midday.
Dress
Meghan famously chose Givenchy's creative director Claire Waight Keller to design her bespoke boat-neck cut gown for her wedding day.
However, while Eugenie will also choose a British designer to create her bridal gown (she confirmed this in an interview with Vogue), it's highly unlikely she'll have chosen Waight Keller, too.
Stella McCartney, Erdem, and Sarah Burton's names have all been thrown into the mix.
