If like us you woke up cradling an empty box of McDonald's Chicken Selects and a mascara-coated pillowcase yesterday morning, you might want to turn away from your screen now.

Following Kylie Jenner's 21st birthday bash in Hollywood on Thursday evening, Kim Kardashian revealed that instead of nursing a hangover by watching old Friends episodes and scrolling through Bumble, she was sweating it out in the gym.

On Friday morning, the make-up mogul posted an Instagram story from the gym and admitting to her viewers how she was really feeling: 'So I am in the gym and I'm hungover.'

The mother-of-three revealed she turned up at the gym at 8.30am and that despite her banging headache, she was adamant not to miss a workout.

'I figured you gotta get it in,' she told her followers on social media. 'There's no excuses. The gym doesn't care that I was drunk last night or drunk this morning.'

But Kim, we care.

We care when we're vomiting into the bin during a HIIT class, much to the shock of our fellow gym-goers. We care when we fall off the treadmill backwards and give ourselves the mother of all wedgies.

Kim explained the reason behind her strong-minded gym ethic is because 'I feel good about myself when I'm in shape. I'm gonna continue and not let anything get in my way.'

I mean, you've got to hand it to the woman, she's dedicated.

Fortunately, the reality star revealed that despite her strict frame of mind, she isn't totally immune to the symptoms of a hangover.

The star also posted a picture of herself having 'naps between sets' on her Instagram Story.

Following the workout, the entrepreneur posted a video of herself in leggings and a sports bra and wrote: 'Done!!! So glad I pushed thru!!!"'

Congratulations, Kim! Meanwhile, we'll just be over here suffering from a two-day hangover and ordering a Deliveroo to work.
