Stop everything you're doing right now because Britney Spears has just landed in the UK.

Did you hear that? That's the sounds of paper bags inflating from Britney fans hyperventilating and praising the pop gods for such a wonderful gift.

But wait, it gets better because the generous singer has also brought a new meme with her all the way from the States.

Ahead of her performance at Brighton Pride Festival tomorrow afternoon, the singer's fans have taken to Twitter to teach us all a lesson in how to react when in the presence of the 'Hit Me Baby (One More Time)' star.

It all started when super fan Zachary Gordon recently saw the Mississippi-born singer perform at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey and was heard screaming 'who is it?!'.

Now, of course Gordon knew exactly who was on stage but the timing of his question is the real clincher.

The question was shouted just as Spears began singing her hit song 'Gimme More'.

Now, if you don't know (shame on you), 'Gimme More' entered the social conscious in 2007 - her comeback hit following her public breakdown eight months earlier - and famously references the phrase 'It's Britney, b*tch'.

At the time, those three little words were the perfect two fingers up to her haters and a reminder that Britney wasn't going anywhere. (It's incidentally also become our dream response when someone asks us 'and what's the name?' when booking a dinner reservation, but we digress).

As a result, Spears' fans have been inspired by Gorgon and have now started screaming 'who is it?!' before she sings the chart banger.

Seriously, everyone is doing it - even her boyfriend Sam Asghari.

Fortunately for Britney's crowds, the singer can't get enough of their sassy heckle.

One fan has even called her the 'queen of answering questions'.

In a 2010 interview with MTV, Jim Beanz, who was a producer on 'Gimme More', revealed the simple origin of "it's Britney, b*tch," and said: [Spears] was basically open to any and everything that I mentioned.

'The phrase came last minute right at the end of the session ... We needed that one catch phrase to really bring her back and put her stamp on the industry and that stamp was 'It's Britney, b*tch.'

All hail, Britney!
