Dressed in a stunning light-pink dress by Stella McCartney for the royal wedding, Oprah Winfrey looked glorious as she glided - yes, glided - towards the main doors of St George’s Chapel on Saturday afternoon.
Joined by Idris Elba and his fiancée Sabrina Dhowre, the media mogul looked the epitome of timeless grace and cool.
However, hours before the royal nuptials, it was apparently a different story for the Oscar-winning actress.

According to an Instagram photo she posted after the wedding, Oprah revealed she originally planned to wear a beige dress, but changed her mind at the last minute when she thought it would look white in photographs which, as we all know, is a major wedding ‘no no’.
As a result, British designer McCartney made her a dress overnight for the big day. Yes, overnight!
‘Realised Friday morning the beige dress I was planning to wear to Royal ceremony would photograph too “white” for a wedding,’ she wrote in the caption.
‘Her team did this overnite. Hat is vintage Philip Treacy been in my closet since 2005 with new feathers. OMG was this an extraordinary day! #Harry&Meghan #RoyalWedding #Lovedeveryminute.’
Sharing a clip of herself with her 14.3 million Instagram followers, the star thanked McCartney’s team for working around the clock.
‘Thank you so much for the detail, [and] working all night, to the whole Stella McCartney team.’
As if Stella’s team - who dressed Meghan Markle in a stunning high-neck fishtail gown by the British designer - didn't have enough to worry about on the wedding day!
The news of Winfrey’s near wedding outfit nightmare comes amid reports Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, is set to film an interview with the television host while she is in London this week.
The proud mother is said to have already met with the US television personality, who also attended the royal wedding this Saturday.
A source told the Sun: ‘There’s huge secrecy about what the interview will involve and when it will air, but both Doria and Meghan felt it was critical for Oprah to be at the wedding to really understand.’
Ragland is said to have visited the US star's Los Angeles home at the end of April, where the two got to know one another ahead of the wedding and the interview.
‘Oprah is an icon in the US media and a role model to African American women. She has an untouchable status and is becoming a key adviser to both Meghan and Doria.’
We’re loving this new relationship between Oprah and Doria already.
