After just three series, And Just Like That will conclude in two episodes' time. Showrunner Michael Patrick King confirmed in a heartfelt Instagram post that this current season, which airs on Now TV in the UK, will be its final outing.
'And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the Sex And The City universe is coming to an end,' wrote King in a glossy, art directed statement. 'While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That… season three, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop. Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12.'
What this means more plainly is that after 27 years, we'll no longer be privy to the goings on in Carrie Bradshaw's universe after seeing her through six seasons of Sex And The City, two feature films and the three seasons of And Just Like That...

As the series and entire franchise comes to a close in just two episodes time, many questions remain unanswered with no clear route to what's next for everyone's favourite single girl. Will she venture to England with her brooding British neighbour? Or will she (and Shoe, the cat) remain in her palatial Grammercy Park home?
I can't help but wonder that something different altogether might be on the cards and involves a return (once more for good measure) to 245 East 73rd Street. Only time, and moreover two episodes, will tell.
