Spoilers for season 3 lie ahead, fair warning!
Comment dit-on "baby on board?" If you watched Emily in Paris season 3, then you already know the Netflix show is saying "oui" to a dramatic baby plotline going into season 4. (And we aren't talking about Madeline's.)
The explosive season 3 finale saw two breakups (Camille and Gabriel, and Emily and Alfie), an engagement party, a spur-of-the-moment almost-wedding, and Camille's pregnancy news, which makes all the wistful shots of Gabriel watching kids play throughout the season more sensical.

There's clearly a lot to unpack before the show returns for another round, and who better to do so than the series cast themselves? During the Emily in Paris season 3 press junket, Cosmopolitan asked the show's golden trio of friends—Lily Collins (Emily), Ashley Park (Mindy), and Camille Razat (Camille)—to dissect what happened...and how they felt about Camille's pregnancy reveal.
'Shocked,' Camille began. 'Shocked is the word.'
Initially, when the cast heard about the finale direction, they anticipated the many plot lines would be edited down. Instead, they got all of them.
'We heard rumours of all these different endings. And I thought that it was one of them. But then we found out it was all of them, and one after the other,' Lily said. 'I'm like, 'We only have 35 minutes to fit this into, how are we going to do that?' So we feel very lucky to have been able to kind of do all of this the entire episode and keep it together.'
'I think we all heard rumours in different ways, and then you're just like, 'Wait wait wait, what happened? Oh my gosh.'"'Ashley said. 'There's just so much that happened that last episode.'
That is an understatement. The fireworks of a finale took about five days to shoot and mandated a day's rehearsal in advance because of all the moving parts.
'It felt kind of like its own insulated play, which was really fun,' Ashley told Cosmo. 'When we all go out of town, that's the time we get to stay in the same hotel and it feels like a sort of summer camp.'
The finale was certainly jam-packed, but it also stressed the need for season 4 given the multiple cliffhangers. 'I don't know if we could have ended that way not knowing if we were moving into season 4,' Lily said. 'That would be terrifying of us because we'd be like, 'You're going to leave us hanging too? Do we get to explore the storyline?' But knowing that we do allowed us to dig deeper into the cliffhanger because we knew we'd get to continue it.'
Will Camille and Gabriel ultimately raise a child together? Will Emily get back together with Alfie or give dating Gabriel a real try? Will Camille reconcile with Sofia now that she's broken up with Gabriel? And what about Mindy, Nicolas, and Benoît?? There's much left to resolve, so all we can say is Merci, Netflix for already green-lighting Emily in Paris season 4!
