Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Scott Disick's eldest son, Mason was the first Kardashian kid on the scene. Back in 2009, the reality star welcomed her first child and paved the way for the new Gen Z era of her family.
But while Mason wasn't camera shy during his formative years - he regularly made appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians as a child - he's since decided to stay away from the spotlight. However, in honour of his 13th birthday (which he shares with his younger brother Reign), his Aunty Kim (aka billionaire businesswoman Kim Kardashian) has shared a very rare photo of him to celebrate.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the SKIMS founder posted a snap of the two of them back to back with a caption that read: 'The day has come where you're taller than me now. I just love who you are and I'm so proud of you Mason. Welcome to your teenage years. Happy birthday.'

In the photo, Mason is seen dressed in a white T-shirt and grey joggers, sporting a long shaggy haircut and oversized sunglasses. Kim keeps in theme with the casual attire, opting for one of her grey SKIMS robes complemented by the platinum blonde hair she recently changed to a honey shade.
Earlier this year, Kourtney opened up about Mason's lack of online presence after fans were theorising his social media disappearance.
Speaking on the Not Skinny Not Fat podcast in October, the Lemme creator said: 'I see comments all the time that I'm never with my kids. And I just don't love to post my kids on social media. They don't love it, sometimes they do,' the 43-year-old said.
And when talking about Mason, she added: 'He does not like it. He doesn't want any part of it. He's not on social media. He doesn't love it, and I want my kids to be kids. I crave normalcy as much as we can have it.'
Happy 13th birthday, Mace!
