We've all been patiently and excitedly waiting for the release of Ridley Scott's true crime drama House of Gucci for what feels like decades. The film, starring Lady Gaga and Adam Driver - among other huge names - has been so talked about over the last few months it's hard to believe we're still waiting to actually see it. Finally, with the release just days away the critics reviews are in and they've got fans pretty baffled...
The film, which is one of the biggest releases of the year, tells the real life story of Patrizia, the former wife of Gucci founder Maurizio Gucci, who was convicted of ordering the murder of her husband in Milan back in 1995. The film will follow the crime and the corresponding fall of the House of Gucci.
With just a few days to go before the film's release the critics reviews are finally in, and it's a real mixed bag. While Variety called it 'Ridley Scott's best film since Gladiator,' Buzzfeed called it 'an unambitious mess'.

Meanwhile, over on Rotten Tomatoes the critics ratings are equally all over the place, from 2.5/5 to 4.5/5, with one review saying it's 'loaded with extreme ups and downs' and another saying it lacks juicy drama.
All in all, we don't know what to believe and it looks like fans are feeling the same way, with many of them taking to Twitter to discuss the wildly opposing reviews the film has received.
So, while it looks like the jury's still out on the film itself, it seems like Gaga's performance has everyone in complete agreement. We can't wait to watch.
