Tom Felton welling up while watching Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone 20 years later will make any Hogwarts fan's day.

Anyone who grew up reading the books and watching the series might get a little emotional when revisiting that very first film in the franchise.

The actor hosted a short watchalong Instagram Live video, where he invited fans to watch the first 11 minutes and 11 seconds of the first Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, with him.

Felton was very excited about his film night, mispronouncing the names of his co-stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson while introducing the movie, before

joking about the 'large man with a beard' (Albus Dumbledore) and 'the cat' (Minerva McGonagall).

Tearing up at the scene where Harry Potter is left on the Dursleys' doorstep (spoiler alert), Tom then narrated as 11-year-old Harry is introduced: 'I have literally not seen this for probably 20 years. Look at him! Good lord! His voice – he's so sweet! He's like 5 years old.'

The actor, now 33, added, 'I'm just tearing up rather than giving you commentary but it will get better. I think the best is yet to come in these movies! We're definitely going to try this again.'

The actor later hosted another viewing of a short snippet from the film on Wednesday (December 2).

Tom is all over the Harry Potter content at the moment: he recently hosted a reunion with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and How to Get Away With Murder star Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas) to celebrate the film turning 19.

We are a SUCKERS for the extra Hogwarts content.
