Since moving to California, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already been keeping themselves busy with various new ventures, including launching a charity and reportedly signing a deal with Netflix - and it seems like Harry could be set to add another string to his bow: comedy.

Stand-up comedy might not be the first thing you'd expect the Duke of Sussex to be doing, but it's all part of a charity fundraiser aiming to help war veterans and military families.

Harry will be taking part in Stand Up for Heroes, an annual comedy event, on November 18, with the show happening virtually this year. And he won't be the only high-profile attendee, appearing alongside comedy and music stars including Tiffany Haddish and Bruce Springsteen.

The charity fundraiser will raise money for the Bob Woodruff Foundation, co-founded by ABC News correspondent, Bob Woodruff, who said:

'For the last 14 years, the Stand Up for Heroes event has continued to inspire our nation and serves as a reminder of all of the brave individuals that have defended our country selflessly in our military. This year, it is especially important that we unite to show support for their sacrifices as we come together virtually to stand up for our heroes.'

The exact role that Harry will take during the event is still unclear, so we'll have to wait before finding out whether Harry's giving stand-up a go himself, or whether he'll just be making a guest appearance.

Supporting the armed forces is of course a cause close to Harry's heart, particularly as he served as a soldier himself. He and Meghan recently shared pictures from their private Remembrance Day visit to an LA cemetery, and we're sure Harry will feel passionately about supporting veterans with this new venture.
