Kim Kardashian fans have been inadvertently shouting 'read the room, Kim' at the star over her latest birthday party tweets, by mocking them with their own versions.

Earlier this month, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians makeup mogul turned 40, and celebrated with various celebrations, including a party on a private island.

Taking to Twitter to share some photos from the occasion, Kim wrote, '40 and feeling so humbled and blessed. There is not a single day that I take for granted, especially during these times when we are all reminded of the things that truly matter.

And while it's great that the Kardashian-Jenner clan were safe, fans can't help but mock Kim for being slightly out of touch with reality. Not only is a private island out of reach for most people all of the time, but, there's also a global pandemic going on, remember?

And so Twitter did what it does best, and was overrun with people sharing their own version of the tweets, with everything from screengrabs of Game Of Thrones and cult movie, Midsommar, to Mamma Mia and Parasite:

While it's encouraging that the KUWTK stars were safe with their quarantining etc, perhaps there was a more appropriate way to share your happy news, Kim.
