As an expectant parent, Mother's Day has a new poignant meaning for Gigi Hadid.
The model shared an adorable photo to Instagram on Sunday May 10 - which is Mother's Day in the US - to pay tribute to her mother, Yolanda.
Alongside the sweet photo of Gigi as a child perched on her mother - who was pregnant at the time with either one of her siblings Bella and Anwar - she wished a Happy Mother's Day to 'the one I'll do my best to emulate'.

Gigi is currently quarantining with her mother on her farm with her partner Zayn Malik and sister Bella. The model recently celebrated her lockdown birthday with her loved ones by her side which involved a huge bagel-shaped cake and plenty of flowers sent by famous friends.
This was just days before news broke that Gigi and Zayn, who rekindled their relationship at the end of last year, are expecting their first child together.
Gigi confirmed the news - which was first reported in TMZ attributing quotes to 'family sources' - telling Jimmy Fallon, 'Obviously, you know, we wish we could’ve announced it on our own terms, but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support.'
Gigi said that she was trying to 'be present' throughout her pregnancy and enjoy the ride - albeit in a unique situation due to lockdown - telling Fallon: 'It's a nice silver lining to be able to be home and together and really experience it.'
