The 10-minute debut episode premiered on Facebook Watch on Monday, following the couple as they embark on a boat trip on the lake on their house.

After Justin told Hailey stories about how he used to go fishing as a child in Canada, the couple also took a moment to reflect on their relationship journey with the Grammy-winning singer asking his spouse how she learned to trust him again after their 2016 break-up.

'From the time you and I ended and were not on good terms, I was on my own essentially. I didn't just throw myself into a relationship - I did other things to try and forget like talk to people and hang out with people - or fill a void in that way. I really let myself feel the emotions I was feeling,' Hailey said candidly before explaining how they came to reunite two years later.

'I remember I cared about you so much that it didn't matter to me if you were in my life in a romantic way, I wanted us to be in each other's lives and that be ok. When I look back on it, it was the best thing that we took time apart and to do our own thing. I found my footing in my career and on my own and as a young adult... by the time we got together I felt I'd experienced enough. I knew what I wanted.'

The model admitted she was confused and had doubts before they got back together and it was their mutual friends who assured her that Justin was 'working on himself' as well as the fact she had chosen to forgive him that allowed their relationship to head back on course.

Justin also asked Hailey what the is most rewarding thing about being married, to which she said: 'The companionship you get out of it. The more you work on it and fight for it to be solid. It takes a lot of work. We've had to work hard on our relationship and that pays off in a way that you just become so connected to each other and so close. Obviously you're my best friend, that's the biggest payoff to have a best friend you get to do everything with.'

Justin agreed that he loves the 'security' marriage gives you through your vows and thanked Hailey for sticking with him 'through sickness and in health... [including] when I was really struggling'.

'Now I'm in the best place I've ever been,' Justin reflected. 'And you and I are the closest we've ever been.'

The couple signed off the short episode by professing their love for each other. The Biebers will have 12 episodes in total and will feature more discussions between the pair as well as with their famous friends and family.
