The Beyhive was plunged into shock and elation, when Beyoncé unexpectedly joined a live all-star sing-a-long.

The virtual event was streamed live in aid of the Feeding America charity on Thursday evening.

Saying she was 'very proud to be part of the Disney family' - Beyoncé voiced the part of Nala in last year's Lion King remake - the singer dedicated her performance to 'all of the healthcare workers who have been working tirelessly to keep us healthy and safe'. Beyoncé also comforted audiences by reassuring everyone: 'Don't give up hope, we're going to get through this.'

The reaction of fans on Twitter says it all:

Following the performance, Glee and American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace star Darren Criss hopped on Twitter to further demonstrate the power of Beyoncé, saying he asked to perform 'When You Wish Upon A Star' he was told it was 'impossible' to get cleared.

Elsewhere during the live stream, Ariana Grande blessed fans with a stunning rendition of 'I won't Say I'm In Love' from Hercules (where she somehow also appeared as backing singers to her own lead vocals), Josh Gad, Luke Evans and Alan Menken sung 'Gaston' from their Emma Watson-starring live action remake of Beauty and the Beast and a High School Musical reunion which did not include Zac Efron.
