Through this process of social distancing and quarantining, memes are certainly helping people find a lighthearted way to get through the temporary uprooting of our lives.
Blake Lively is evidently someone who has realised this too, opting to share a meme from the show which catapulted her to stardom, Gossip Girl, on Instagram.
This was no usual Serena Van Der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf (portrayed by Lively's co-star Leighton Meester) meme though, as it had been reimagined to include a Coronavirus social distancing message.

Lively's use of the meme follows her husband Ryan Reynolds answering a fan whether he has ever watched his wife in the cult series in a typically Reynolds fashion.
'I didn't watch it. I drank it through my eyes,' the 43-year-old quipped on Twitter.
Meanwhile, a Gossip Girl reboot is currently in the works, casting a whole new intake of privileged New Yorkers.
While the offer of an appearance was reportedly extended to all of the former cast - including Lively, Meester, Penn Badgely, Chase Crawford and more - Lively dispelled any rumours that she was involved with the new version of the show at a red carpet appearance earlier this year.
