The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have attended a music concert in London days after making their first royal engagement since standing down as senior royals.

The couple made an appearance at the Mountbatten Festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday night (7th March).

For the evening out, Meghan wore a stunning full-length crepe, caped, red dress by Safiyaa. The former actor wore her hair down, straight, for the event and accessorised with a red clutch bag, while her spouse Harry wore military uniform.

The concert brings together composers, conductors and musicians from around the world who belong to the Massed Bands of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines. This year, the festival is marking the 75th anniversary since the end of the Second World War and the 80th anniversary of the formation of the British Commandos. Proceeds from the event go towards the Royal Marine's Charity and the young people's cancer support charity, CLIC Sargent.

The outing is the second time we have seen the Duke and Duchess in a royal capacity in one week.

On Thursday, Meghan and Harry attended the Endeavour Fund Awards in central London - the first official engagement for the couple since they announced they would be standing down as senior royals and becoming financially independent from the monarchy - where a rom-com-style smiling picture of the couple under an umbrella in the rain was widely shared after the event.

Earlier in the day, and on Friday, the couple had undertaken solo engagements with Meghan paying a surprise visit to the National Theatre, of which she is a patron.

Meghan and Harry will join other members of the royal family, including the Queen and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, at a Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey.

The couple will formally transition from senior members of the royal family and stop their royal duties on the 31st March.
