Of course, the internet loved Aniston's laughter and clapping during Pitt's speech, and it only confirmed what everyone already knew - then Jen An is a gosh-darn (inter)national treasure.
Pitt had acknowledged the evening would be something of a public reunion for the pair, who last jointly went to the awards ceremony in 2002, to Entertainment Tonight.
'I'll run into Jen, she's a good friend.
'The second most important reunion of her year? I understand,' Pitt continued, adding, 'That was a play on Friends.'
That's right, the pair are firm friends, a fact we learnt when she reportedly invited 56 year-old Pitt to her birthday last December. Strangely, we missed our invite, but we're sure it will come round next festive season.
