Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's 2019 Christmas card may just be the cutest thing we've ever seen.

A gif of the card was shared on Twitter on December 23 by the Queen's Commonwealth Trust organisation, of which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are patrons.

The black and white image shows Meghan and Harry sat on the floor laughing in front of a Christmas tree, as their seven-month-old son Archie completely steals the show by crawling towards the camera, looking directly into the lens.

In the background, the giggling Sussexes have their eyes firmly fixed on their tot.

The picture is definitely more of an informal, relaxed choice for a royal Christmas card. Meghan wears an oversized, high neck jumper for the snap, while Harry is in a white shirt.

The picture was taken by the couple's friend Janina Gavankar, an American actress who has been friends with Meghan since her Suits days, reports People.

Last year, the couple shared their first Christmas card as a married couple, releasing a previously unseen photo from their royal wedding day that displayed the pair watching a fireworks display during their evening reception at Frogmore House.

This Christmas, the couple are foregoing the traditional royal Christmas at Sandringham and are spending it in Canada with friends and Meghan's mother Doria Ragland, according to reports.

They even received a special welcome from the county's Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau on Twitter who told them: 'You're among friends and always welcome here.'
