Prince Harry was overcome with emotion during a moving speech at the WellChild awards on Tuesday evening.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were attending the annual awards, which recognises the bravery of seriously ill children as well as their parents and the carers who look after and support them.
Harry delivered a speech during the event, during which he spoke about the significance of attending the awards this year as a new father, revealing that at last year's ceremony only he and Meghan knew they were expecting a baby.

However, as he started reading his speech, Harry became emotional reflecting on that time and realising that as new parents they would 'do everything [they] could to protect and help [their] child should they be born with immediate challenges or become unwell over time'.
At one point, Harry struggled to continue speaking so was comforted by presenter Gabby Roslin.
'Last year when my wife and I attended we knew we were expecting our first child - no one else did at the time, but we did - and I remember squeezing Meghan’s hand so tight during the awards, both of us thinking what it would be like to be parents one day,' he said.
'And more so, what it would be like to do everything we could to protect and help our child should they be born with immediate challenges or become unwell over time. And now, as parents, being here and speaking to all of you pulls at my heart strings in a way I could have never understood until I had a child of my own.'
The couple's son Archie was born just five months ago in May. He's since been spotted a handful of times, most recently in a trailer for a documentary on the Harry and Markle's royal tour of Africa, where the Duchess can be seen kissing his head while Harry smiles at the camera.
