Elsewhere, the trailer shows Bradby accompanying Prince Harry to a landmine area, where he retraced the steps of his mother Princess Diana, and to an animal conservation area. The anchor is also seen in conversation with Markle on one of her many solo engagements during the trip.

He narrates the clip saying that while the Autumn tour to Africa was 'of passion for their work and private happiness' there was also a world of 'pressure and pain behind the brave faces' - referring to the news that emerged towards the end of the tour that the Sussex's are taking legal action against several newspapers.

Harry & Meghan: An African Journey will air on ITV at 9pm on Sunday 20 October.
